Dragon Painting, step by step

finally a post that are not related to my BJD XD
its been a while I'm not posting my work.. :P
I have plenty in my sleeve but always forgot to posted.

This one is already finish a week a go but I had a chance to posted it now. ^^a

Its started when my friend Kamikaze say he wanted to tried to commissioning me, and becouse he is a Dragon lover, of course he wanted me to draw his Persona a Blue Dragon of Wind.

its my first time someone commissioning me a Dragon, Im very nervous, but I try my best..
so I hope the result are worth the price :)

first of course I made the sketch manually, because its more comfort to me than doing sketch on computer.

Im  trying to compose the color, choosing the color that will make the Dragon look stand out, and desice the shade and lighting.

ACEO Card step by step

Like I say in earlier Blog. Celeste give me Artist Card for an ACEO,they are 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches - the size of a trading card.
if you dont familiar with what an ACEO is, well to put it simply
ACEO or "Art Cards, Editions and Originals" are cards with original picture, and made to be traded among artist or fans.
and they are a collectible items to, especially if you have card from some popular artist.


So I made some,  I already use four of them now, but only two that not failed in the process XD
here it is.

Melak Bentang

After  I've  got all that pretty Stuff From Celeste. and also after I'm having a birthday,
I decide that I will using my watercolor skill more often..
if I can, I will try to do it once a week.
This time because yesterday I'm having a birthday, so I want to draw myself trying to catch a star.

why? because I want someday I could be able to catch my dream.
I wanna go aboard with my comic. :D  so somehow this Picture are my prayers to God.
Im drawing and pray in the same time. *///*

my tools of trade :D, and that Sketch book is one that Celeste gave me.

first of all of course I made the sketch with my pecil.

the paper are very lovely :) its thick and not wringkles like watercolor I used before, Im so happy!

almost done..

this is the final result.

I move it to my computer and edit the colors and the star. It make the pic prettier :D

Wish me luck Guys, I hope someday my dreams will be coming true, when Its coming true, Im gonna draw myself with a star.. LOL
